Mondo Bizarro is an anthology with several authors I have read and enjoyed contributing. Overall it was decent but not spectacular. This is Bizarro, but some of the stories failed to connect with me as the reader, either due to their overly silly nature or plot lines that contradicted themselves. The ones I would say are 5 star material however are Breaking Up by Sybil Lamb and Space Pig Killer by Tom Lucas. Both built incredibly realistic worlds, and characters that were unique and exciting.
This is a solid anthology. Look at that dream lineup! There are a lot of awesome authors in this one. My favorite story has to be Tom Lucas's "Space Pig Killer." The sheer lunacy of that tale is staggering! Close second is "Bad Directions" by Justin Grimbol. It's a relentless story. Pretty harrowing ending, too. Other top notch tales: "Love Without Legs" by Nathaniel Tower, "Sleep Talking" by Russell Holbrook and "Family Facemelt" by MP Johnson, naturally. If you love bizarro, you're going to lo...
