The purpose of this book is to create an imaginary scenario of the life and times of Vatsyayana. The story is set in ancient India,around 2nd century CE. The life, society and people are imaginative. They are created for the purpose of giving an insight as to what Vatsyayana probably went through during his life and what made him develop a philosophy which helped him compile the standard work on human sexual behaviour in Sanskrit literature, which we all commonly refer to as Kama sutra.

Hardly anything is known about him in the historical records.

The exact date either of the life of Vatsyayana or of his work is still unknown.


Ten percent of the income received by the author will be forwarded to an Indian rural development fund,another ten percent will be sent to a Syrian refugee fund and a last ten percent will be sent to a Yazidi relief fund.
