Hilarious and creative perspective on wine tasting.
A must read. Gary's energy and enthusiasm is shown in this book. Very great book.

A fun read and look at some wines you've never heard of and might never get a chance to try, but they sure sounded good....open up a bottle and enjoy!

Great book to help you expand your palate in the world of wine. Written by Internet Celeb Gary Vaynerchuk. In his own words Gary describes the flavors and aromas he picks up in these wines that he thinks brings the Thunder. Fun book to read, written with the same enthusiasm he has in his internet show Wine Library TV.
I was thinking this is a book where Gary would talk more about his experience in wine and life. However, after the first part of this book, when the 101 wine part come in. It does not look like what I am expecting to read. It is a good one to keep for reference maybe when needed.

interesting but was hoping for a little more that a list of wine to expose people to different. Was hoping more for list of GV's all time favorites.
very enjoyable! we describe wines similarly and I enjoy his writing style. I now have a list of wines to try to find to try!
Not really a book that you read from cover to cover, so this is sort of like reviewing a book of trivia that you pick up while doing something in the bathroom. That being said, Mr. Vaynerchuk brings his in your face pop reference style found on his podcast to paper format wonderfully. I do have a rather major criticism, however. In the forward, he explains his methodology for picking wines to make the book, and that included having the wines be available to the public. Then, early in, he is inclu...

I'm definitely a Vayniac and I liked this book, but it's not the same as watching his webcast. If you try just reading it through like I did, it gets repetitive pretty quickly, but I admit that's probably not the way to use this volume. It should be more like read, sip, read, sip, etc. I appreciate that Gary set out to include readily available wines, but unfortunately, the first one I attempted to acquire was from a winery now closed! The Buck Zin, if I remember correctly. Anyway, a useful guid...
