Well this installment certainly heated things up in more ways than one.And that Cliffhanger! I am glad I only have to wait a couple of days for the next episode.
What a great episode! All our favorite characters are there, doing what they do so well, and new and intriguing ones, too! The writing is vibrant and colorful. The romance (for whatever definition you choose for "romance", LOL) was lush and delicious. My favorite episode so far this season!
Another enjoyable episode here, with action on several fronts...Duchess Diane pursues several young men, with both carnal and ulterior motivations, while Rafe wallows in depression, pining over the man Diane destroyed... and hid from him.Kaab and Tess continue to have a bit of disharmony in their relationship - but that doesn't stop a hot threesome... or other concerns, such as an attempt to strongman Tess into work - or an increasing certainty that something nefarious is going on at the spice w...
Thanks to netgalley.com and Serial Box Publishing for the advance ARC copy for my honest review. Another entertaining edition to the series, liked that you got the devious duchess scheming plotting, add Micah, Rafe, Tess and IxKaab to the mix. Ends with a cliffhanger ending, one that will set-up 'All That Glitters' to start with a bang.
Fantastic.

More and more! With some authors, if they were to introduce a new character this far into a story, it would bring a feeling of "oh look, they've written themselves into a corner and have to bring in a new character to get themselves out." With the team of writers on Tremontaine, you can feel confident that it's just more of the richness of this world.
OO, more Tess!
Fireworks (Tremontaine Season 2 Book 3) Mary Anne MohanrajFireworks of various nature find themselves enraptured by the love and lives of the players in the game. Whether the nobility or the commons their rapturous entanglements make a tapestry of the back ground of the book. Despite the plans and conundrums of the noble or the common man it is their ignition that brings fireworks to the story. This is the most erotic part of the book so far with the liaisons beginning to come to fruition.
This instalment finally gets on with the plot. We check in with most of the main cast, and as usual: Rafe is frustratingly obtuse for a supposedly brilliant young man, Kaab seems really incompetent and unperceptive for a career spy, and I can't for the life of me figure why Diane would be this easily attracted to people. Still, with tighter plotting and pacing, finally I'm back to being interested in what happens next. And Saabim made an appearance! Always happy to see her. Overall, it made for
Naughty things happen in this episode.
I enjoyed this book which is the third in the second series, the plot is being set and the characters are being introduced in more detail. Looking forward to part four.
