That which at prefent feerns moflly to carry Men away into this Infidelity, is the giddy Hu mour, which too many among us, efpecially of the younger Sort, 'are liable unto, in following whatfoever hath gotten into Fafllion and Vogue For thefe, looking no farther than what prevails mol't among fuch as they converfe with, of Courfe fall in with ir, whatfoever it be, without any other Confiderati0113 but that they think it the Drefs which is mofl faihionable and genteel for them to appear in, and the Mode'whetein they may make the moi: acceptable Figure among the Comhany they ke'epi And therefore that kind oflnfidelity which is'call'd Deifm, being of late impioufly patroniz'd by too many of thole who govern the Humours of the Tir'nes, abundance of this Tcgrtgof 'unthinking people have' meerly, out oficpmplyanpe with them, .run in thereto, and confidently taken upon them to call Chrifiiari'ity a Qheat and an Impoflure, without ever having confidex'd what. An Impofiure is, of whether any of the Marks and Properties thereof can pofiibly agree with this holy'religion, or no.
