As a follow-up to my collection of Voltaire's criticism of atheism , this book presents Voltaire's positive views on God and man. As the title indicates, he was very cautious in what he said of God, and kept to the results of strict deductive arguments. Yet, he was occasionally willing to pray to this God about whom his reason told him so little.
This collection contains the following texts, in new translations:
"The Principle of Action"
"A Poem on the Natural Law"
"The Soul"
"All In God"
"A Prayer to God"
