The Zenescope Wonderland universe is horribly convoluted, partly because Wonderland time works differently (and madly) to ours. But mostly because the stories are written out of sequence and often they will go back to an earlier point in order to re-engineer things in order to introduce a new plot twist later in the saga. Would have been better had I read these in order... The ongoing series I read throughout this month actually came after this, and this comes after a few of the Wonderland one shots that I am going to read next month. But anyways!This one has the Queen of Spades back, yay! It also shares what Johnny went through in Wonderland to become the Mad Hatter in later books. It was a pretty quick read, more entertainment than any deep plot or meaning, but what books are not for the most part?Really liked
