In fiction, characters are born and characters are killed off, but in the hearts of those who read and come to love them many characters, these fictional heroes, live on in our hearts where they never die.
As the publisher of The Tales of Padistan Bear it’s my belief that we are seeing the creation of just such a character in Padistan, brought to life by the writing of John Warner and Illustrations of Angela Winstanley. The first book in this new series of adventures is called The Beginning and in it we are introducing you to a character, his world, his family and his friends as well as others who we believe, will live on in the minds of fans for many years to come.
In this short book, we are introducing the characters and the land that makes up the rich backdrop to Padistan’s adventures as a young bear, having to leave the loving comfort of his home and make a living in the wide and sometimes dangerous world Padistan finds himself in.
