This is the first volume of poems that includes material we purchased from various sources in the 1980s. We also secured a great deal of the material from the Mark Feld Estate that, had we not protected it when we did, would have been skipped and lost forever. Some of this poetry has previously been published by the official fan club that we ran in the 80s in the form of a small limited edition book of poetry called Dance Of Doves. We also found material that had been published by Lupus Music in 1969 The Warlock Of Love. We have had nothing new and distinctive in a long time. The Marc Bolan legacy is glowing strongly, but the fact is that this material we have rediscovered gives us an opportunity for us all as Marc Bolan fans, old and new, to enjoy much of the inspirational thoughts and creativity of the late Icon, Marc Bolan. We are therefore delighted to have secured a tripartite agreement with The Estate and Lupus Music to bring you the first of two volumes of poetry, the classic, the rarely seen and the unpublished. We hope you will all enjoy reading the material as much as we have enjoyed compiling over 160 poems spread across three magical years of creativity by Marc Bolan, singer, songwriter, music legend and natural born poet.
