Whimsical to utterly dark and grim. This is a collection of science-fiction, fantasy and stuff in between the two with none of it being heavy or hardLacking in big names sometimes does the small anthology a great service, nobody gets there because of who they are it seems. Spots are by the story under consideration and not work offered in the past. There are no stinkers in the midst here. Wind Chimes and A Rock in the Air are my favorites of the bunch, both are fantastic.

One story is narrated by a cat, another is written in 2nd person, and there is one in present tense as well (though is less and less unusual.)
