CIA agent and former Seal, Mike McCarthty, interpreter and interrogator, at Camp Bucca, Iraq, is pulled into the most dangerous mission of his life when he receives a call on his cell phone from the White House. An Islamic Caliphate has been established in northern Iraq by al-Baghdadi, self appointed Caliph, and his IS terrorist troops are storming out of Syria, murdering and beheading thousands of Iraqis who oppose him. His announcement on the internet is broadcast worldwide that he is declaring war against the U.S. and pledges to plant his black flag on the top of the White House. The President laughs at this statement, but the bloody scene of people being beheaded influences him to appoint CIA Director, Ken Green to lead the search for al-Baghdadi, find him and kill him.
Ken's former Seal buddy, Mike McCarthy, who had interrogated al-Baghdadi when he was incarcerated for four years in Camp Bucca, is the only person who can actually identify al-Baghdadi. The call from the White House was from CIA Director Green, who informs Mike that they will work together to locate al-Baghdadi. Using Seal tactics, their investigation leads them from Syria and Iraq to West Africa and Mexico. They know they have little time to catch him before he implements his terrifying plan.
