This was a trippy story. Frightening, gory at points, and twisty. To be honest, I didn't think I'd like this series very much. I decided to read the first issue out of curiosity, but then the story grabbed me and wouldn't let go until I finished. I really like the setting and the time this took place in. Scott Snyder is a talented author and the artist did a great job.
