I became very concerned about child endangerment and the gruesome things I witnessed during my career as a police officer. This manual stresses that "talking" to a child does not work...they must be "trained". When put to the test, almost 100% of children who have been told to never go with a stranger will do so. Child safety and child protection, while related, are not exactly the same thing. Besides stranger danger, the manual also provides training information regarding vehicle traffic, fires, household chemicals, internet safety risks and many other dangers children face. To get this book into the hands of as many parents as possible, the regular price of $9.95 has been reduced to $4.95 for an extended period of time.
