Centuries ago a powerful vampire hunter devised an artifact to safeguard humanity from the evil of vampires by imprisoning their vile souls within it. After his death the artifact was hidden to prevent the evil it contained from infecting the world.

Now Dorian, an ancient vampire, has learned the secret to unlocking the artifact and harnessing the evil energy trapped inside for his own malevolent ends.
