Perfect novelization of a perfect movie ♥ (I'm such Descendants trash lol.)
Just to clarify, I never watched the movie, nor have I ever heard of a movie about the Descendants.3.5 stars. I almost didn’t want to read the book, as the cover for this one is just terrible and horrendous, and it doesn’t make me want to read the book, nor (when I found out) watch the movie. Yes, I am still a cover lover, and covers need to attract me. But I decided for once to just go for the blurb and check it out, and I am glad I did as the story was fantastic.Welcome to a world where Good a...
Eleanor says: I love Descendants! Ever since I saw the first movie, then I watched the second movie, then I watched the third movie. I heard some kids talking about it in class and decided to try and watch it. I loved it. This book is exactly like the movie.
The Descendants4/5 starsOh my gosh it's over and I'm bummed out. I've (through no fault of my own) developed a highly unhealthy obsession with this world and these characters.Obviously, this wasn't as well written as the Isle of the Lost, because Melissa De La Cruise didn't write it. But I enjoyed it nonetheless. I wanted to watch the Disney Channel movie as soon as I finished the prequel, but, since I was pretty late on the whole "descendants" train, I haven't been able to find it yet. So I fig...
Chapter 1Mal is the narrator also daughter of maleficent, and she tells us how her mother cursed sleeping beauty and her kingdom all those years ago. And then how king beast finally married belle and became king and queen of Auradon and when he booted all the evil stepmothers, sidekicks, and stepmothers and stepsisters to the isle of the lost. And how her town is the greatest badest isle no Wi-Fi, no magic and no way out for her and her wicked friends
Good but read before watching the movieThis book is actually like the movie ... But if u seen the movie a hundred times like me, there is no used to read the book. My suggestion is you read the book first and then watch the movie. " I Am rotten to the core. "
I had fun with this novelization.
This was certainly amusing, I have to say! I love the idea, and I vaguely remember seeing a snippet of the movie on TV before the place's channel switched, so I can't compare. But the book is short, sweet (well...sorta sweet *wink*), and something fun for a Saturday afternoon.
Amazing! It was the same things that happened in the movie, just in a book!!!
This is so great the book has everything you ever wanted to know about .it inspires so much people because they think because they are bad they can't turn over a new leaf but this book teaches you that heel inspiring thankyou
3.5 stars! This Disney channel movie novelization starts out right where The Isle of the Lost ended. Mal, Evie, Jay and Carlos have spent their whole lives on the Isle, because of their villainous parents. But when Prince Ben declares that the 'innocent' children of the Isle of the Lost should be given a second chance, they find themselves sent to Auradon, with a special mission from their parents to take down the kingdom and bring Fairy Godmother's wand to Maleficent. Will the Descendants contin...
5 🌟It was nice to see what happened to the heroes and villains in the movies that we grew up with. The next generation all seem to be cool. Glad that Mal, Evie, Carlos, and Jay are doing well at Auradon. Wonder who the villains' significant others are. Can't wait to read Descendants 2!!!!
And now I need to watch the movie
Well, this is exactly what I expected it to be.On the surface, this book is definitely a poorly novelized adaption of a Disney made-for TV musical. It has flat, undistinguishable characters in a predictable world following a similar plot as High School Musical, only this time with the children of our favorite Disney big screen heroes and villains. I was able to read it in less than two hours, and I struggled to differentiate one character from other. However, I know that I am not the intended au...

In the movie novelization we meet the evil villains kids and follow their adventure from their town into the land of the good where all the Prince and princesses kids live and go to school. So when two opposite groups collide, they clash but still integrate too as they discover love and friendship and find themselves actually having fun, will they go through with their wicked plan?It is a great story with the characters being led it seems by Mal so we get a strong feel of her leadership and not r...
A great short read!!!!!! Loved the creativeness of imagining what would it be like if all the Disney stories we have grown up with also had kids & the moral of the story: good triumphs evil of course!!!!!! :)
This was a very good book. If you have watched the movie, then you need to read the book! I t has way more detils than the movie.
