FURIOSA IS NEXT HELL YES
This was really interesting. It explains a lot of the things in the movie.
Disappointed but not surprised. Just go watch more Fury Road.
It was a very average prequel comic book/movie tie-in but after the stunning movie, average isn't quite enough to live up to its source. It doesn't help that, when leaving the movie, Immortan Joe isn't anywhere near the top of the list of characters I want to know more about. Obviously the next issue about Imperator Furiosa is what I'm most anticipating. I did enjoy the little more we received about Nux in this issue.(Personally, I'd love an issue each for Toast the Knowing, Cheedo the Fragile,
The artwork on the skin of the "storyteller" was amazingly detailed. Not only do we find the name "Nux" but we can see such authors as "Dickens" and such pop culture references as "Larry Curly Moe". This storytelling device reminds me of Bradbury's "Illustrated Man" from which a film was made. Might we see more on the screen of this "storyteller"? That'd be great, George Miller is certainly a director to watch, again and again. He understands that movies are primarily visual, and he also underst...
A solid one-shot that gives a lot of backstory to Fury Road's antagonist, as well as one of its most interesting characters. It's definitely worth checking out if you love the recent film and want to know more about that world.
Fun read, Great Ride!
A good prequel that explains some gaps in an excellent but highly action driven story.
This prequel comic to the movie is pretty basic, it may have been informative in building up the dystopia world if i had picked it before watching the movie, but as i picked it after watching, it didn't add anything new. In fact there is hardly much to the story of Nox as for Immortal Joe, how he came to rule the citadel would have been interesting telling, just it was missing all the actual action sequences. Kind of a disappointment.
Not a huge fan of the artwork, and the flow of the comic is a little odd. But I loved the background the comic gave to the two title characters, and how they ended up in that exquisitely imagined world. 8/10
A nicely done prequel tie-in that clarifies a lot of the mysterious warlord Immortan Joe and how he gained his cult status. The tale about Nux is interesting in its depiction of the brutality of the Citadel, the Wasteland and the War Boys. A very good read for the fans of Fury Road.
4 Stars
Gahhhh!!! I wanted to hear detail on Nux's back story and his time growing up with the other War Pups. He was such an amazing character in the movie, my favorite in fact, he deserves his own story!
Way too short for five bucksI like the story and the artwork but wish I had wanted for the graphic novel. Seems overpriced for the amount of content

Muito bom! Complementar ao filme. Ajuda a conhecer o background dos personagens.
