Bartlett Works: Architecture Buildings Projects

Bartlett Works: Architecture Buildings Projects

Laura Allen
0/5 ( ratings)
Building Design, Architectural Education, Film Direction, Furniture Design, Architectural Journalism, Landscape, History and Theory, Arts and Architecture Policy, Video Production, Website Design, Completed Projects and Works-in-progress by the Alumni, Faculty and Friends of the Bartlett School of Architecture, University College London, UCL

This publication celebrates the diversity of different types of architectural activity and explores the role of the architect. In looking at what people have gone on to achieve after leaving the school, Bartlett Works explores the links between education and practice and illustrates the great diversity and excitement of the profession. It brings together such disparate work as building design, architectural education, film direction, furniture design, architectural journalism, history and theory, arts and architecture policy formulation, video production and website design, with the emphasis being on recently completed projects and work-in-progress. In this way, the book provides a forum for new work both from well-known practices and individuals, and up-and-coming architects whose work is less familiar. Contributors include Foster & Partners, Softroom, Ushida Findlay, Allford Hall Monaghan Morris, David Chipperfield Architects, Block Architecture and filmmaker Patrick Keiller.
