When dragons besieged the city of Bastion, Keramore Thex and his Tier’Dal soldiers held the line against the armies of Ithiosar the Black to buy time for the Combine to escape. At the end of their stand, the Tier’Dal were trapped under the crumbling city of Quin’Sari, surrounded by enemies. They were doomed until an ancient set of spires suddenly sparked to life around them.

With no options left, Keramore and the Teir’Dal retreated into the mysterious portal the spires had opened. Outraged at potentially losing the opportunity to slay his hated enemy, Ithiosar rushed blindly after them, losing a leg and much of his tail when the portal shut quickly behind him.

Written by Maxwell Alexander Drake, this story takes place immediately following the battle in Quin’Sari. It follows both Keramore and Ithiosar as they navigate an unfamiliar world, and make discoveries that will change Norrath forever.
