Out of the Dark

Out of the Dark

Sharon Sala
4.4/5 ( ratings)
When she was just a child, Jade’s mother stole her away from her father and descended into the cultish world of The People of Joy. But her mother dies, and Jade is trapped for years of horrific treatment and abuse by members of the cult who now control her.

She finally escapes but has to live on the run, hoping the cult never finds her—because they’ll stop at nothing to keep their secrets safe. Living on the streets, and always on the move, Jade turns to art for salvation and for survival.

When a painting of his vanished wife surfaces, Sam Cochrane knows the artist has to lead him to the girl he’s never stopped searching for—his long-lost daughter Jade. He hires friend and ex-cop Luke Kelly to help find her. Soon Jade and her father are reunited, but as Luke and Jade grow closer and finally begin to feel safe, little do they know of the danger the news of her miraculous return puts her in…
