From General André Cox’s foreword:
‘This edition of The Year Book provides many facts and much information about the work of the worldwide Salvation Army. Most inspiring are the impact-filled stories of positive, lasting transformation, where God, through the mission and ministry of his faithful people, changes the lives of men, women, boys and girls for the present and into eternity.’
This edition also features numerous colour and black and white photographs of the work of The Salvation Army from many of the 126 countries in which it is at work, whilst the colour plate section contains maps showing details of these countries.
The annual reports mostly cover the period 1 May 2013 to 30 April 2014. Statistics are those recorded on 1 January 2014.
Details of centres of work are generally accurate according to information published by 30 September 2014.
