Do you want to own a business? Great! You know that you are going to need to write a business plan, right? Seriously. In fact, you might end up writing more than one. Why? Because creating a business plan is the best way to organize your thoughts about your new business idea. It puts all of it in one spot and gives you a head start. It isn’t hard either. Without writing business plans, I would have failed. I wrote about 10 business plans before I ever made the big leap. But since I got it right, things are pretty cool. Being an entrepreneur has allowed me the freedom to do what I need to do, the freedom from other people’s bad decisions, and the ability to earn the most money possible from my own efforts. I love it

I also hate it. Starting a business isolated me from my friends, caused me to work roughly twice the hours I would have otherwise, and has, at times, put my entire financial future on the line. I found out that starting a business is a real son-of-a-bitch and I’m considered a success story.
