The story begins with the first book, The Can Do Duck Learns to Say I Can: A Story About Developing a Can Do Attitude. In the first book, Mama Duck helps Zack get past his fears and learn to walk and swim and fly. She gives him the nickname Can Do because of all that he can do. Along the way she provides unconditional love.
In this second book, Zack goes on to try new things and by the end of the book, all the ducks call him Can Do and he is ready to take on bigger challenges. Zack also learns what he can do if he finds something that he thinks he cannot do. Both books teach readers how to believe in themselves, develop Can Do attitudes, and take on new challenges in their own lives. The books are filled with humor and colorful illustrations.
