Gordon Manheim, Certified Engineer and self-professed white hat hacker, has been called to the Lowell building to place a late-night service call to replace a failed disk drive. But the Lowell building is no ordinary building. It is the site, or so believes Manheim, of massive data stores of occult secrets and illegal pornographic content. It is also the site of the rumored Winfield Horror -- whatever that means. Nobody knows, or will say what happened following a previous service call. However, tonight is the night that Gordon Manheim visits the Lowell building for the first, and perhaps last, time.
