The Witch and the Well Digger

The Witch and the Well Digger

Jacob Hill
0/5 ( ratings)
In a world where electronics no longer work because of a major astronomical upheaval, Ian is consigned to spend his days digging wells for a living by hand. His life of drudgery is made more difficult as his younger sister Eva has the good fortune to attend a small school led by an accomplished witch -- Ms. Teresa.

Ian longs for a change and is eventually able to take some lessons at the school and finds that he has a talent for learning magic. When the coven comes under attack, first by travelling vagabonds, and then by evil forces from the city of Pendleton in the North, Ian is called on to help defend his sister and the school -- and eventually lead a campaign to put a stop to the reign of terror.

Ian's work is assisted by fellow students at the school, especially the beautiful but compromised Melissa, the fiery and troubled Betty, and his own younger sister. Ian must learn to lead, and also to overcome his own pride in order to accomplish all his hopes and dreams.

The Witch and the Well Digger is a story of love, loyalty and humility -- and the necessity of courage and persistence in the darkest of times.
