In December 1941 Japan invaded the Philippines. Part of the invasion force landed on the beach in front of Kay & Ren Fox's house where they lived with their two children. An epic struggle for survival ensued. The family first had to escape from invading troops, and then hide out on small islands while being hunted by Japanese search parties. Finally 18 month latter they were interned & starved in Prisoner of War Camp where were they received as little as 120 grams of food a day. This book is Kay Fox's personal diary between December 1941 and February 1945 when they final liberated US 11th Airborne in a daring raid 50 miles behind enemy lines.
