“WORLD WITHOUT END is not an easy book. It has many levels. On it's shallowest level it is just a diversion--an amusement. On a slightly deeper level it deals with artistic creation. On the deepest level it deals with concepts and ideas that make some people squirm--things like God and Church and creation and who is really cranking the Universe.

Atheists and those of the "Scientific" faith especially won't like the ideas herein, but by the same token there are lots of religions of every stripe who will be upset with some of the basic tenets. I say all that to say I hope controversy is something to make the reading more tasty and thought provoking
