Partouche, Madame Gounard's pet pig, longs to have a garden of his own after he is scolded by his mistress for munching on her vegetables. Finding a seed in the shed, he takes matters into his own trotters and, armed with Madame's old watering can, decides to plant it in a nearby railway yard, where it develops into a healthy cornstalk. The stationmaster, however, is none too pleased to find the corn growing amongst his prized geraniums, forcing the poor little pig to make a hasty getaway with the stalk.
Will Partouche ever be able to find the perfect spot in which to place his precious plant?
