During a heat wave they all end up at the same beach and there a drama unfolds when Bernie finds herself in difficulty while swimming.
Morgie and Peej’s heroism not only makes them famous but also rekindles Bernie’s love for dogs and cats. She finds herself transforming into a more loving, caring and friendly person.
This simple story imparts important life lessons for kids about the positive benefits of overcoming irrational fears and reaching out to help others even when they might not have been very nice to you.
