The Cambridge IGCSE Mandarin Chinese - Foreign Language Paper 1 Listening is an exam that assesses students' ability to understand spoken Mandarin Chinese.

The exam will test students' ability to understand different accents, dialects, and registers of Mandarin Chinese. The recordings used in the exam may feature a variety of speakers, including native speakers, non-native speakers, and speakers with regional accents.

The exam lasts for approximately 45 minutes and is worth 30% of the overall grade for the Cambridge IGCSE Mandarin Chinese - Foreign Language qualification.

To prepare for the exam, students should practice listening to Mandarin Chinese recordings, such as podcasts, music, and news broadcasts. They can also work on their vocabulary and grammar to improve their comprehension of spoken Chinese.
