The Morq'Dar Betrayal

The Morq'Dar Betrayal

Heather Lane
4/5 ( ratings)
The Morq'Dar Betrayal is a full-length, fast-paced, sci-fi thriller with a dark and intriguing storyline. Spies, murder, sex, drugs, eco-terrorism and epic battles make it a page-turner, while the intricate plot will keep you guessing until the very end.

The story is set on Casimeer, a planet where Jai'Jeun provides a source of unimaginable wealth, but has also fuelled centuries of conflict. Ulrich and Vadim are on opposite sides of the ancient feud. Ulrich, a young baron raised to follow the stern military code of the Legiac, wants to escape the control of the slippery Count Palomar and restore the fortunes of his once noble house. Vadim, a member of the oppressed indigenous Salamander people, leads a group of religious fanatics, who are intent on annihilating all except those devoted to the beast-god Morq'Dar. Into this volatile mix comes a spy from Primus, to inflame the situation for his own ends. However, the seductive Aveena, wife of crippled Senator Strome, may prove to be the most dangerous of all.
