In the future, a young girl receives her first memory coin. A device that will capture and share her memories on any monitor, and can even be shared with another person. The young girl grows very fond of, and dependent on, the device, but the operating system is starting to use more artificial intelligence and designing false memories. Fearing that she will lose control of herself, she decides to throw away the virtually indestructible device. To do so, she goes on a time travel vacation in a space-time ship to view the earth, and they unexpectedly stop in the near present day. Our heroine is able to jettison her memory coin while on a spacewalk, and it crashes to earth in Russia. A young man finds the coin and realizes it has special properties, as well as the memory feature. By reliving the girl's memories, he realizes this device is dangerous and there is only one way it can be destroyed. He must find a way to use the largest scientific instrument ever built by man, the Large Hadron Collider in Switzerland. Is this real? Can he do it? Is she OK?
