Ulfilas has been ever since the origin of the struggle Arianism versus Catholicism a mystery in the eyes of the lovers of History. A genius, inventor of the Alphabet of the Goths, in this Ulfilas aspect equal to the brothers Cyrill and Methodius who created the Slave Alphabet, contrary to these two saints, Ulfilas has been treated as heresiarch by the church, not because he brought to the pages of history Arianism, but because he gave this antichristian movement a bible. Accordingly Ulfilas's personality has been stained with all kinds of names. In this small essays the author sitcks to the geniality of the inventor of the Gothic Alphabet, and try to lighthen the arianism of the hero the best he can. He fails in this last aspect, but he does a great favor to Mankind by centering the subject in the good that men aspire to do, though, unfortunately, at the end of the day evil is what mankind harvest from the work of men. Those who are in love with the science of History and walk on the top of the mountain of knoweledge by the hand of Faith guided,they will find in this little essay the controversy Catholicism-Arianism intermingled with the quarrel Christians-Arians in the midst of the conquest of Europe by the nation of the Goths,of wich the Ostrogoths dissapeared with their heresy and the Visigoths joined the Catholics and bu their conversion enriched thre Spanish Soul Spanish Blood with that passion for freedom natural to the Barbarians, out of which fusion came to History the blood of the Conquerors, and, finally, the flesh of Don Qixote. Both things, failure and victory, conquers the author of Ulfilas, the Apostle of the Goths. Enjoy.
