I liked the comic part, but, over half of the book is advertising for other comics, which makes the length misleading. I would have rather checked out an omnibus from the library instead.
This was part of an attempt to read every #1 issue in DC’s New 52 Relaunch. New 52 Reboot Geoff Johns? No thank you! This Green Lantern book just continues Johns run from before the New 52. I guess if I had a grand storyline for my character and I was in charge of DC editorial decisions; I’d just make it so I could keep writing the story. It’s really not bad though. Basically Hal Jordan was discharged from the Corps and Sinestro was recruited to the Green Lantern corps again apparently penitent....
I really didn't expect much from this New 52 offering, but it was actually quite good. The art is lush, and I'm a sucker for a good anti-villain.
