Although life there was notable and relatively peaceful, the family eventually moved to Burma. However, everything changed with the invasion of Burma, by Japan, in 1941. After extensive research, we have been able to piece together the story of the colonial Gooch-Harris family, the dramatic events that changed their lives forever, and where they are now. This story is told by some of Henry Harris' descendants.
