Omg, part of our I just wasn't sure what will happen and I hope I'm wrong about thinking what might have happened to one of the characters. The ending was really good.
TESSSSSSS
Loved itKept picturing the actors. Would have loved seeing this in live action. But so glad the show continued in comic form.
Really entertaining.
Two of my favourite heroes: Superman and Flash (Impulse) together in one story? HECK YEAH! Throw in another Flash, S.T.A.R Labs, Green Arrow and obviously the Smallville Universe and you'll get me wrapped up in this story instantly! Superman and Flash have their signature race and that moment was the best in the comic. It reminded me so much of Season 4 when Impulse first arrived in Smallville. We get to dive a bit deeper into the history of the Flash with Jay Garrick (Even easter eggs for Wally...
I have been forever emotionally scarred because of this volume. That is all.
A little false advertising but saved by a decent story. Lex Luthor being the great douchebag that he is holds this together.
Yes! This book was great. After (what I thought was) a mediocre second trade, this book comes back with a great story. Bart being chased by the black racer and his buddy Clark wants to help out by helping him connect with a speedster from the past. Love the Justice Society tie-in, the new costume designs, and the break neck pace (sorry...had to put in a speedy saying) of the story. This book is also full of little nuances that help explain some details we didn't know. For example, I never knew C...
Thanks first reads,Bryan Q.Miller,Jorge Jimenez & Scott Kolins for giving away this book on First Reads! I have finished this comic & here is Story Summary/My Review. In these stories from issues #9-12, mysterious speed storms have struck across the globe, and a familiar face returns to help Clark to stop them. Then, Lex moves against Tess to reveal what she knows about The Man of Steel, and the secrets of Earth-Two Chloe are revealed!I like the way this book is written. The comic book itself go...
Everything was perfectly fine with this storyline, until A: They turned it into a Flash story and B: They brought back Electric Superman. Definitely hope the next book brings things back to the previous novels' excellence.
I'm glad I decided to keep reading these, because this one was fantastic! I loved seeing Bart (Impulse) again, even though I do think it looked absolutely nothing like the actor. The ending was heartbreaking, but at least there was a positive part with Tess that helped ease the pain. (No spoilers.)
Lex trying to get secrets from his mind thru Tess. Flash comes in for help with the creature that follows him, Chole pregnant, and they revive digital Tess?
There's a lot going on in this volume - Thanks to STAR Labs, Chloe and Oliver are closer to finding out some of the secrets of Chloe's doppelganger: Lex is closing in on his sister problem; can Clocktower help before Lex can uncover the truth? Is there a way for Superman to evade Lex from tracking him? Then there's battles with Psimon and a group of monkeys led by a gorilla with a brain in a backpack. All of this along with the main story thread of Bart "Impulse" Allen turning up in Metropolis n...
A solid improvement over the first two volumes, Haunted presents a solidly entertaining story for all characters involved. Miller pushes the story in unexpected directions, and it's a delight! For the first time since starting this series, I finally feel like I'm reading the characters from Smallville. The art is better in this volume. It's appropriately more fluid here (just in time for Impulse), but the likenesses remain mostly unattained.
these are getting better and better.why would they kill off bart tho.... please say sike i love him
This one was ok-ish.. even though the story is pretty mediocre the artwork was good and it was way way better than the last one.Read only if you're a fan of the show.
I have so many problems with these issues and a lot of it has to do with my least favorite character taking up too much time. Point blank, I hate Chloe with a white hot burning passion that consumes my very essence. Therefore, focusing on her and worse, her Earth Two doppelganger might possibly be the worst thing any writer could force upon me. The only good thing I can say about Earth One Chloe is that she didn't make me hate Oliver, which can't be said of the Earth Two versions of both charact...
I really love that this series has been continued in a graphic novel! I am a little upset about one of the things that happened in this volume but it won't discourage me from reading the rest!
I was shocked how much I enjoyed this book. I won it through a Goodreads giveaway. I've been catching up on the tv show and had a passing interest, but didn't expect it to really hook me like it did. The first issue or so is a little hard to follow since I was jumping in with volume 3, but I knew enough from the tv show that I caught up pretty quickly. After that, it was all just gravy. The story kicked up and just went all out and I was completely caught up in it. I think part of what made it s...
Bizzare speed storms are breaking out all over the world, super-speeding random people then draining them of life. An old friend returns to help Superman uncover the cause and put a stop to this menace.Meanwhile Lex Luthor is making use of the memory device previously seen in the Smallville TV series, to try to tap into the memories of Tess Mercer, who's consciousness is currently trapped in his head. Time is growing short for Tess as she tries to contact her former alliesSmallville season 11 se...
