One of those seminal books that defy boundary or definition. An artistic genius displaying how any honest, soulful, and empathetic effort to share with others is the definition of Art. Life-rearranging read.
Ok, but has more tangents than a geometry class. This book has many cool sections on soloing, music, and interaction, but so much other random nonsense is thrown in there. For example, one chapter is at a concert, and 1/5 of the chapter is on actual playing. The rest of the chapter is about random concert goers reactions to the concert. I don’t care what “Nathan” felt about the performance, tell me more about the music!
