This book is a mixed bag. There are a few really good blog posts and essays in here. In particular, all the ones from Paul Graham are *superb* (as usual), Peter Thiel's discussion of distribution is excellent, and there is a great chapter on the basics of fundraising and investors. The other essays are not quite as good. The one on "what is web 2.0" feels a bit dated. There is one chapter that's just the wikipedia entry on Lean Startups (lol). One chapter looks like it was originally a slide dec...

I loved the essays in this book. They give a balanced view of what Startups are like and what investors look for. The only thing keeping me from giving it five stars was that some of the essays are a bit too technical and may be a tough read for more casual readers. I highly recommend this for anyone interested in Internet entrepreneurship.

Learned some interesting info. It has some awesome interviews with some stellar entrepreneurs. It's definitely worth reading at least once - especially if you're about to embark on a new venture. However, there's probably not much to be gained from repeat reading. You will learn much of the info in the book firsthand if you actually do a startup yourself.
