Something that, far from being new, represents the status it already possessed when it was another province of Spain, a prosperous province that had nothing to do with the story of misery and colony that we have been led to believe. Puerto Rico needs and deserves to leave the current colonial status to live a dignified future. To understand this process, there is nothing better than reading the book that the reader has in his hands, in which several Puerto Rican and Spanish authors have met to present the historical, economic, cultural and legal arguments that support the growing reunificationist movement in both Spain and Puerto Rico.
