Deborah Ballard is a woman who has always seen stories in the people that she has met. As a child, her imagination would create the most magnificent scenarios from meetings with mere acquaintances. As she grew older, she found that she had a journalistic curiosity and wanted to discover the truths behind these childhood scenarios. Through her travels, life experience, and education, she has come to appreciate the depth of diversity in each personas journey in life. Deborah lives in California with her son. She has come to write Somebodyas Story as a tribute to the many people she has encountered who have a unique story to share and who wish to pass on a few lessons that they have learned along lifeas way. Deborah has always been an avid writer and graduated with a bachelor of arts in communication with a passion to write, but an immediate need to financially pay off school. She went to work as a technical writer for three years until she opened a coffeehouse in Arizona. She says, aAfter five years as a barista, you get to know a lot about people.a She began to realize her need to know more about what makes people tick and went back to school. She finished her master of science in psychology and had the opportunity to have some of her questions about the human experience answered. She is an education administrator who realizes that some truth and knowledge are often found way beyond the classroom or textbook. Deborah says, aWhat an amazing gift we have to share with each other by simply telling our extraordinary stories.a
