No Gertz combines the themes of religion and science fiction to come up with an awe-inspiring story. Steve Knox is a self-centered young man with all the material possessions he could ever want, but he is living a lie. He has terrible problems with his wife, his in-laws and his boss. He can't even keep his mind on watching the Rose Bowl game, so he leaves the stadium early. Steve gets caught in a blizzard in the San Gabriel Mountains, runs off the road, and what follows is an adventure totally beyond his comprehension. A retired technical writer, Frank Hall recalls a dream he had many years ago. "On October 31, 1955, I had a strange dream that caused me to seriously and honestly question my values, standards, goals, and aspirations. In No Gertz, Steve Knox goes through a similar experience. I wrote the book hoping it would help others to repeat Steve's experience." He lives in Greenville, South Carolina, and has finished his next two books.
