The Glass Coffin

The Glass Coffin

Mark Scioneaux
0/5 ( ratings)
Tyler Webster is a ruined man. With age creeping up on him and his marriage failing, he seeks solace in the arms of another, leaving his wife and sick daughter behind. When he returns however, the unthinkable has happened. The dead have come to life and are hunting the living. Tyler soon finds himself helpless, and worse, powerless to do anything about it as the macabre situation unfolds. He is trapped inside his glass coffin while the world around him turns to madness.

If you are a fan of classic, Romero-style zombie action, then this is a must read. A true zombie lover's delight scripted by Mark Christopher Scioneaux, the author of the zombie thriller, Hollow Point, and founder of Horror for Good.

Praise for "The Glass Coffin"

Mark Scioneaux's "The Glass Coffin" is a gut punch of a story, and it's a testament to his skill that he can make us sympathize with, and even feel for, a man who, in the hands of a lesser craftsman, would be thoroughly irredeemable. A very chilling read. This one will scare you, guaranteed!
- Joe McKinney, author of "Dead City" and "Flesh Eaters"

“A quick and brutal tale that teaches an important lesson: If you’re going to cheat on your wife, don’t do it during the zombie apocalypse. Highly recommended.” - Jeff Strand, author of "The Sinister Mr. Corpse"

"In a subgenre that simply seems to copy its forebears and comes off as George Romero fanfic, Scioneaux has found a way to make the undead seem fresh and exciting again. I'm looking forward to more of his fiction." - Brad C. Hodson, author of "Darling" and writer/producer of "George: A Zombie Intervention"

“Revenge is a dish best served cold, especially served by the cold dead fingers of your wife! The Glass Coffin is a chilling read!” - Doree Anne, professional editor

"This tale was gross, fun, and satisfying. Payback is a bitch." - Penelope Crowe, author of "100 Unfortunate Days"

"Mark has proven, zombies are still roaming the earth in our imaginations through the power of the written word." -Charles Day, author of "The Plan" and "Legend of the Pumpkin Thief"

“The Glass Coffin” is a high concept thrill ride that grabs you by the throat as tightly as the relentless zombies in Mark Scioneaux’s gruesome story. Prepare yourself for a bloody good time. – Taylor Grant, horror author and writer/director of the psychological thriller “The Muse”
