Comics from the early 80s and below can be, for the most part, quite unbearable reads for my taste. The famous Batman vs The Incredible Hulk crossover, is no exception. For your own sake and mine, I won't go into too much detail, but I will say that there's a team-up with The Joker and, get this, The Shaper of Worlds. What, you haven't heard of him? He's like one of the most badass villains in the Marvel universe! Nah. Frankly, he sucks! The Shaper of Worlds is losing his ability to make people's
Another adventure from the tale end of the silver age of comics. A seemingly odd pairing of characters actually seems quite logical once you think about. Marvel's big green giant of Brawn up against DCs mightiest and brainiest of heroes. You can't match the Hulk punch for punch, you'd have to out think him and that's exactly what happens when the two Bruce's (Wayne and Banner) end up pitted against each other by The Joker and The Shaper of Worlds (Ok. I'll bite. Who?) more fun reading.
This book was so awesome.
great comic book
Another DC/Marvel crossover, starring Batman and the Hulk! Apparently part of this story inspires the Emperor Joker story line which is cool. Overall, this comic was pretty well-done! There were a few times where I thought ‘why is he doing that?’ but mostly, there were just some sweet comic book actioney moments. Moments like the sequence of Batman trying to evade Hulk’s fists then the Hulk defeating a monster made specifically to capture him.
This is so incredible
Great
The odd pair of Batman & The Incredible Hulk collide in this rare DC/Marvel Crossover story. Batman & Spiderman crossover comics have been common but this pairing has been rare. The story was good & some decentgraphic work. Not the best of either Batman or Hulk's adventures but together with Joker, there are a few fun parts. Overall a good read to refresh childhood memories.
An odd matchup but a good plot that brings them together. Nice art and a good read. Recommended
This comic book is totally outstanding.
This book is absolutely fantastic.
Great dialogues, if you like old fancy comics!Definitely a good storyline
Batman vs. The Incredible Hulk is a stupendous Len Wein 1982 offering that should delight comic fans and art critics alike. With its learned references, classic artwork, and deft dialogue this is truly a hidden gem that has retained its radiance some 30 (almost 40!) years later. I could never have imagined such an atypical dyad ensconced within two covers would be such an enjoyable read. Intentionally or not, there's some definite Freudian stuff going on here. With Batman representing Ego (The r...
Good story by Len Wein and some very nice artwork. This was, I believe, the first DC / Marvel crossover to not feature Superman.
I love hulk books
A good story by Len Wein and fantastic art by Garcia-Lopez, it fails only in that Batman/the Hulk is not the greatest pairing—there are many other heroes would have paired better with Batman.
This comic is really awesome.
