Leonardo considered that painting was the supreme goal of he understood philosophy, which was his substratum, and included science and art. Leonardo sought to unravel secrets and spiritual messages from unfathomable origins. That is why an enormous number of "theories", literary and cinematographic works have been generated around him, which, at least, have amused us. His work reflects the immediate world of his experience, emotional nature, and vision of the cosmos.
