I'm starting to feel a bit conflicted with this series. I like sassy, smart-mouthed Charley and really like her role as the Grim Reaper, an entity that can be used by departed souls to cross to the other side, which means she meets some very interesting souls. This whole book made me sleepy...well, except some of the Reyes scenes!! The problem is Charley is refusing to sleep and things are getting pretty crazy. This is actually the first book in the series that I've read, but it was fairly smooth sailing despite that fact. It did take me a while to get used to the quirky/corny humor. But I have to say, I enjoyed the time I spent with Charley, Reyes, Cookie, Garrett and the others. Don't let the silly humor fool you.
