Full Overview of Servants of the Damned: Giant Law Firms, Donald Trump, and the Corruption of Justice

Jason Weston
0/5 ( ratings)
Donald Trump once tried to pay a lawyer he owed $2m with a deed to a horse.

The bizarre scene is described in Servants of the Giant Law Firms, Donald Trump and the Corruption of Justice, a book by David Enrich of the New York Times that will be published next week.

Longtime Trump-watcher Enrich shows, Jones Day—which had previously represented massive pharmaceutical and tobacco company, R.J. Reynolds, and the sex scandal–ridden Catholic Church—was vigorous in “trying to stop votes from being counted—not because they thought there was something improper underway , but because they detected an opportunity to use the law to give their side a political edge.”

There are plenty of other shameful episodes, and Enrich is unblinking in reporting them, yielding a fast-moving, damning book.

The book places particular focus on Trump’s relationship with Jones Day , and the role played by Donald McGahn, a partner, in Trump’s 2016 campaign and then in the White House.
