From Francis Flagg come two "Fantastic" stories published in the early issues of Astounding Stories Magazine. "Francis Flagg" was the pseudonym used by the American poet, writer and novelist George Henry Weiss . His science fiction stories appeared under the pseudonym "Francis Flagg" in the science fiction and adventure story magazines: Amazing Stories, Astounding Stories, Tales of Wonder, Weird Tales and others.
The first: "The Heads of Apex" originally appeared in the October 1931 issue of Astounding Stories.
The second story: "The Seed of the Toc-Toc Birds" originally appeared three months later in Astounding Stories, January 1932.
