Genesis Generations

Genesis Generations

Colin Burt
0/5 ( ratings)
The trilogy is really three books in one, and follows three gereations of Genesis missions. The first one; 'In the Beginning Again' follows the mission from Earth, to colonise Proxima B, in which Lisa wishes she'd been paired with Max instead of boring Luke, but that turns out to be the least of her worries as they realise they are being observed by highly intelligent bird-like creatures who threaten to destroy their colony if they break the rules, but eventually it is Luke and Max's son, Shem who save the planet from their enemies, the Algarians, who turn out to be human. The second book; 'The Ossu', tells of how Luke and Lisa's daughter, Mary and Shem volunteer to help with a daring peace-making mission to Algaron which doesn't go well, and the others return to Proxima B as quickly as possible, but the Algarians persuade Mary to stay, believing that she is the prophecied healer of their planet, while Shem is arrested for war crimes against them, leaving her alone and apparently pregnant with a child the Algarians believe will be their prophecied peacemaker. How could Mary resolve the situation, as Yeshua, her baby son is born? The third book; 'The Homecoming' follows Mary, Shem, Yeshua and his brother returning to Earth in response to a mysterious distress call, but by the time they get there things are not what they appeared, not least to Yeshua, who finds himself thinking and saying strange things as the family encounter a hostile welcome from first the cynical Federation, then the rebels who had long since lost hope. No one could work out how to help and not be killed, especially not Yeshua.
