0/5 ( ratings)

He and his old friend Gerald Bullett, an editor and writer, went off to Broadway in Worcestershire to settle down to their joint venture, and they stayed at the Lygon Arms. According to Judith Cook's biography, the pair found getting down to some work rather more difficult than they had envisaged, and JBP complained that he was struggling to manage 5,000 words a day while 'poor Gerald' was suffering from some kind of writer's block. In they end they did get it done.
