The plot centres around the power-conscious mayor of a medieval village. Connected as a child to nature in an almost romantic way, as a teenager he decided on an indigenous life in the middle of the village community. After only a few years of hard work, he was elected to the highest office in the village. Everything seemed to be going perfectly for him, until one day he encountered an old wayfarer at the village well, and the mayor's fiery temper drove him into a competition with the old man. After they had only gone a few steps, strange things began to occur…and that was only the beginning. The native man soon regretted challenging the old wanderer, since it was already too late to turn back. Did "fate" have good things in store for him?
