Aesop's Fables | More Than 150 Classic Fables for Children: The best of the old fables are here and all in a fine new dress

What is Aesop?
There is very little biographical information about Aesop. He is reputed to have been born a slave in Samos in ancient Greece in about 600 BC. He earned his liberty through his learning and wit and went on to become a respected diplomat and traveler. Ancient Greek philosophers like Aristotle, historians like Plutarch and Herodotus mention Aesop's fables in their works. Today, these immortal fables have come down to us, as fresh and pristine as they were when they were first told.

Many stories included in Aesop's Fables, such as,

"The Town Mouse and the Country Mouse
The Ant and the Grasshopper
The Wolf in Sheep's Clothing
The Fox Without a Tail
The Two Frogs
Belling the Cat
The Fox and the Crow
The Lion and the Mouse
The Fox and the Goat
The Fox and the Grapes
The Fox and the Lion"

These stories teach moral lessons, often with animals. It is a pleasure to publish this new, high quality, and affordable edition.
